On average I come up with a crazy idea every 3 months. This last October I had a doozy and was going to need to approach my husband carefully. With only a couple eye rolls he was soon helping me with my vision. I wanted a rustic winter backdrop that families didn't have to travel far and then walk farther to get to. I know it is not easy orchestrating a family photo. You have to get everyone dressed in nice clothes, that will probably need ironed, and make sure hair is smoothed down and pigtailed. That I cannot help with. But I can help getting to your location easier without losing the rustic feel in your photos.
So what exactly what was this crazy idea? I had a barn-like backdrop built and set up right in my backyard in Clintonville. It has the outdoor rustic look but super easy for the kids which makes them happy and therefore creates better photos. Every year I plan on improving on my backdrop with changes and improvements you'll love.
My Holiday Mini-Session favorites are numerous. There were just too many good ones not to include. I end up with the best families and couples that you all make it so easy for me. The cold was forgotten as I had fun talking with the kids and learning what new toys they were asking for Christmas, playing with twinkle lights, cuddling with the cutest little dog, and at one point dancing in the snow!
This will be my last post before the Holidays so I wish you and yours a warm and cozy season with your loved ones.
Something new for the New Year! I now offer custom made fresh foliage head wreaths for your session upon request. They look gorgeous on you, adorable on a young girl, and can even be used to beautify your pup. They can be hung around their collar to give them a little prance in their step. The head wreaths below are winter wreaths. I would use appropriate flowers for the season you are having your session and coordinate the colors of the flowers with your outfits. Just ask me about them when you book your session.
