FAQ

What Kind of photographer are you? My work is authentic and soulful with a fine art quality. As a trained fine art painter I imagine your family as art. I will provide a generous gallery of images for you to display in your home as pieces of art or archived in a custom album to be treasured for generations. These photographs will be an investment in your family history. Images from your session often tell a story, capturing a treasured moment in time. I do not try to make you look perfect, stiff, or unnatural.  I will never ask your child to "say cheese".  I want to capture your authentic selves.

Where will my session be held? I am a natural light, on-location photographer. Together we will choose the perfect location for your session. Newborn sessions are held at home.

When do newborn sessions occur? I like to do newborn sessions within the first two weeks of life.

What should I wear? Be comfortable, be yourself. I recommend not matching but coordinating. Try to avoid logos or writing on shirts. They distract from your child's sweet face. After booking with me I will help you on all the details of choosing a wardrobe for your family that is easy.

When, where, and how will I get my photos and products? Photographs grow in value over time and become family treasures. I know the importance of archiving and saving digital images.  I offer one simple, all-inclusive collection where you receive all the high resolution digital files delivered via direct download and a print release.  A minimum of 30 images will be available to you in a private online gallery. You also have the option to buy additional prints and boutique products. Within 2 weeks of your shoot you will receive a link to your private online gallery. You will have 2 weeks to order additional products.  I am also available to meet with you so you can see and touch products before you decide to purchase.  Sales makes me cringe so I offer a customer care service to help you decide on what print products would work best for your home.  I take all the guess work out and make sure you have beautiful images of your family in archived albums and on your walls.

How far out are you booked? I book as early as 2 weeks in advance. If you are interested in newborn sessions or a Fresh 48 session in the hospital, please inquire while you are pregnant. Already delivered? No problem. I try to leave openings in my schedule for last minute newborn sessions.

How much does all of this cost? My pricing is all-inclusive.  You pay one price for ALL of the digital files. Total cost is $425 for newborn and $400 for family sessions. A deposit of half your session fee is due to book your session. Click HERE for more info.
